In-office Procedures
At Southeast OB/GYN we offer in-office surgical procedures. We use the latest, minimally invasive surgical techniques, allowing for a faster recovery. A board-certified anesthesiologist provides anesthesia services on site when indicated.
Intrauterine Device (IUD)
Intrauterine devices are a long-term birth control option for women. An intrauterine device (IUD) is a little, t-shaped device that is inserted into the uterus to provide birth control.
Endometrial Biopsy
Endometrial biopsy serves as a helpful tool in diagnosing various uterine abnormalities.
Endometrial Ablation
Endometrial ablation is a procedure that involves removing the thin layer of tissue from the internal cavity of the uterus.
Colposcopy & Cervical Biopsies
The purpose of a Colposcopy is to examine the cervix when cervical screening tests or pap tests are abnormal.
LEEP
Loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) is a common practice used to remove abnormal cells from a patient’s cervix.
Diagnostic & Operative Hysteroscopy
Hysteroscopy is used to diagnose or treat problems of the uterus. A hysteroscope is a thin, lighted telescope-like device.
